Maybe it’s just me, but I have never been able to understand why people jump out of perfectly good airplanes. It’s dangerous and we only get one chance to live this life, so no reason to live it on the edge between life and death. Oh, I know, people say they want to get “the rush” and live dangerously once in a while, but it can also be the last rush you have. I put this right up there with mountain climbing, bungee jumping, and telling your wife she’s fat. It’s dangerous territory to say the least.
Take this fellow in the video, knocked out cold at 12,500 feet. If he had been lower, he might have hit the ground unconscious and that would have been his last wake up call. Thanks to his skydiving partners they noticed his situation and had enough time to be able to help him and save his life.
