Sexual Harassment Implication of Hiring Women

Lately, in the current “me too” environment of Sexual Harassment claims by women, many going back decades or longer, I’m wondering to myself what future effect these claims will have on hiring women in the work place. If you are a small business owner, and most businesses are, are you willing to take a risk of future Sexual Harassment lawsuits or will you just hire a man for the open position instead? Or, will you seek to hire an unattractive woman believing that a sexual harassment claim will be less likely? Whatever the small business owner does, I believe the employment opportunities for women will likely diminish in future months and years.
