Since I am at retirement age, I have been doing a little thinking about where to retire. I have noticed that several different organizations publish their list of 10 Best Places to Retire in 2013, 2014, whatever. Organizations such as Forbes, U.S. News, Money Magazine, Huffington Post, etc., have their list. The problem I find with them is that most of the lists are different, guess they can’t agree on the best place to retire and the #1 spot seems to change from year to year. So, that means that you will have to move every year to be in the best city for retirement that year.
It all gets very confusing for an old seasoned citizen like me so I think the best plan is just to forget about all those lists and live where you want to live and be happy that you are still alive and healthy. I’m kind of partial to moving to Hawaii myself and I don’t find that on any of the lists.
